Step 1: Determine your participation – schedule a meeting with your team in late January to determine what type of event you’d like to host; service, education, outdoor recreation, or use an existing event that is already in place.

• Create a budget and use the attached timeline to make sure you stay on target

Step 2: Register your Kids to Parks event – share important event details with your community! Register your event here. You will be asked to provide details about your event so NPT can post it on our website and Facebook to help promote your park adventure.

Step 3: Share your Plans with your Community – Include the event in monthly newsletters, blogs, and/or social media. Place KTP posters in offices and community centers to help spread the word about KTP.

• Use the planning guide and promotional materials below to help implement your KTP event.
