The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is hosting a Boating Education Course at the Crater of Diamonds State Park pavilion, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. The course covers boat classification, registration, life saving equipment, navigation aids, rules of the road, maintenance, courtesy, and other topics to promote safety and increase the enjoyment of boating for outdoor enthusiasts. Participants must attend all sessions to successfully complete the course. The course is free of charge but is limited to 30 students.
