Bring your binoculars for this morning walk in search of waterfowl and warblers along the Tahquamenon River. This one-mile walk will quietly explore the Rivermouth area, where it is not uncommon to hear sandhill cranes, pileated woodpeckers or the ‘kak-kak-kak' of a resident merlin all in the same day! The entire walk takes place outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather. Binoculars will be available to borrow. We might be walking through snow/slush, so proper footwear is recommended! Meet at the Rivermouth Campground Office, 32130 W. South River Rd., Paradise, MI 49768 (located five miles south of Paradise). Please Note: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources makes every effort to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information on the web calendar. However, dates occasionally change and events may be canceled for any reason. Please call the unit hosting the event to confirm dates and times prior to your arrival.
