Introduce the kids in your life to Grayson Highlands State Park At 1 p.m., join us in the Massie Gap area for a fun woodland scavenger hunt and easy clay craft. Please bring $2 in cash to help pay for supplies. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be held at the Visitor Center. At 2:30 p.m., meet at Massie Gap for a wild pony hike! We will look for the famous ponies of Grayson Highlands, hear their story, and enjoy the great view from Wilburn Ridge. Our hike on the Rhododendron Trail will be 1 mile total. At 8 p.m., come to the Campground Amphitheater for our salamander meander. We will learn about these fascinating slimy creatures, then catch and observe some for ourselves!
