Join Carrol Johnson of the Bluebird Recovery Program of MN to learn how blue birding can be an exciting and rewarding part of your life and be helpful to successful nesting for these beautiful ?jewels of blue.? The Bluebird Recovery Program of MN began in 1979 and went from 22 bluebirds fledging from nest boxes to about 20,000 per year currently. Their purpose is to ?Bring Back Bluebirds for Future Organizations. Meet at the park office to learn about the houses and habitats so you can help with bluebird populations. You will also get a chance to look at the park?s bluebird nesting sites. The program is free and open to all ages.
