Explore the flora, fauna, and history of Goliad State Park on this ranger-led 1/3-mile hike. Learn about some of the notable plants, commonly seen critters, and natural building materials found near Mission Espiritu Santo. See how the diverse plant life near the San Antonio River sustains a variety of animals, how the Native Americans utilized some of the plants, and see the stone quarry and kilns used by the mission inhabitants and the CCC to construct, then reconstruct, Mission Espiritu Santo. Meet on the mission porch a few minutes prior to program start time. Wear comfortable clothes and dress for the weather. Trail includes some stairs.
