Big Rig Day

The Big Rig Day Event is held yearly at Burnet Park. Trucks from city fleet and companies in the area showcase some of their trucks or other unique vehicles, and children get a chance to view them up close, climb in, around, and all over them, get behind the wheel, stand inside the bucket of the payloader, honk the horn, check out the “bells and whistles,” and just have a great time. We get an estimated 2000 people that day. Carnival and Educational Demonstrations as well.

Sensory hour is an hour without noise, no bell, or whistles, which will be 11am – 12pm.
