What do piñatas have to do with Spanish missions? Come find out, then smash a piñata! Piñatas are a common form of celebration, but where did they come from? You might be surprised to learn they had an important place in mission history! We will be telling the story of piñatas all afternoon, so come join us and take a swing at a piñata! When: We will begin telling the history of piñatas at 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. We will bust piñatas at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30pm. Where: Behind headquarters under the large oak tree.
