Take a tasty gaze into the Hill Country Night Sky. Enjoy a classic campfire treat and sample the delectable night sky buffet as the San Antonio Astronomical Association joins us for S'mores and the Cosmos. Come fill your Dark Sky appetites! Gravitate towards our 100 S'more Years event. Meet: With Ranger Augie at 8 p.m. on the Chapa Group Area grounds. Bring: Parking pass (Entrance permit) Comfortable attire for the evening (check local forecast prior to arrival) Telescopes, binoculars, planispheres, flashlights (must have red lens or filter), water or other non-alcoholic beverage, lawn chairs or blankets for ground cover. See: Stars, constellations, asterisms and planets with the naked eye. Observe detailed, close-up views of night and deep-sky objects through various telescopes provided by the knowledgeable astronomers of the San Antonio Astronomical Association and HCSNA.

Cost: Entrance fee required for this event. $6 for adults (13 and older) and children (12 and younger) are no charge. Day use entrance fees include this event. Entrance fees can also be paid on-site at the self-pay kiosk. Exact change is required. Credit cards do not work at the self-pay kiosk. Make day use reservations online to avoid needing cash for entrance fees or call (512) 389-8900 for day use reservation assistance.
