Join us to learn all about Caprock! From beginner hiker tours to fishing clinics and more, you're sure to learn about and enjoy a variety of recreational opportunities and educational experiences that make Caprock Canyons State Park unique! Offered at various times throughout the day, a variety of beginner clinics including hiking and fishing will be available as well as various educational presentations and exhibits. Come out for a short while or spend the day at the park with us! Plus, did you know that Caprock Canyons State Park has some amazing, dark night skies!? Stick around for later on in the evening to view celestial bodies of the night sky through large telescopes, underneath one of the darkest night skies in Texas! (A detailed list of event times and locations will be available inside the Visitor's Center on the date of the event) This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year.
