Flower Moon Hike

Join our rangers in a short moonlit hike along the river. Watch the Flower Moon rise over the walls of Palo Duro Canyon and hear the tales of this special, springtime full moon. This program requires pre-registration and is open to the first 75 participants who register. To register contact Ranger Bradley Kliemann by phone call or by text at (806) 452-9844 or by email at Bradley.Kliemann@tpwd.texas.gov. Registration will be open from Tuesday, April 18th at 8 am CDT to Tuesday, May 2nd at 5 pm CDT. A waitlist will be available if more than 75 participants register. Participants will only move from the waitlist in the case of cancellation of participants ahead of them in the queue. Further information about this hike will be given to participants upon registration. Things You Should Know: Meet: Will be disclosed to registered participants. Bring: Weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.), a headlamp/flashlight, 1 liter of water per person per mile and comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy).
