Fort Boggy State Park 4994 Highway 75 South Centerville, Texas

Beginning birding can be frustrating when the birds want to hide from humans. Let us help by bringing the bird information out on the trail. This self-guided hike around Lake Sullivan will have information about the different birds at Fort Boggy, including their bird calls! The lake trail is a 1.5 mile hike. What to bring/wear: Bring water, sunscreen and bug spray. If you have binoculars, bring them for continued bird watching. A few pair will be available at the park office to check out. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and sturdy shoes.
