Join a Park Ranger on a guided hike to the summit of Enchanted Rock by moonlight. Learn about the nocturnal animals that call this place home. Once at the top, we'll rest to look at the night sky and take in the other-worldly views. This hike covers 1.4 miles and is very challenging. It will last approximately 2 hours including rests. Pets are not allowed on this hike. Meet: At the Gazebo. We will leave at 8:00pm sharp. For your safety, you cannot join the hike if you are late. Bring: Sturdy hiking shoes, flashlight or headlamp (preferably with red light option), water, optional hiking stick. How to Register: Email addison.preston@tpwd.texas.gov with number of attendees and ages. Registration will close at 4:30 PM (CDT) on Friday, May 5th. Registrants must purchase a day pass or have overnight reservations to attend this hike. Day passes can be purchased online via Reserve America or in person (self pay only after 4:30pm). Note: This hike will be limited to 25 attendees maximum on a first-come, first-served basis. No large group reservations accepted for this hike.
