National Kids to Parks Day: Discovery Center at Foster Falls

Get outside and enjoy Virginia State Parks! Meet at the Discovery Center located in the historic village of Foster Falls. Play 18th century games, learn about native animals at the touch table, tour the historic village and make arts and crafts. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch. This national event takes place on the 3rd Saturday of May each year, connecting kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events that promote discovery and exploration in the great outdoors.
