Running of the Lambs 2023 Each year when our lambs are born in March, we invite you to come out and meet them. During March and April, you are able to see the beautiful babies and experience the joy of new life. In May, the lambs are ready to run outside and follow their mothers to our pasture. So on the 3rd Saturday in May we open the gates and let them outside for the first time! It is an amazing thing to watch. They will follow their mothers out of the pen, through the barn, down the path, and out to pasture land for the VERY FIRST TIME! You are officially invited to come and be a part of it. We call it the Running of the Lambs. A MUST-DO Experience @ Critter Barn! Don't miss this Once-Per-Year chance to see their first run. At 11:00 am 30+ lambs and their mother ewes will run into the pasture for the very first time. Watch them run, jump, and "prang" as they enjoy the open space. Spend over an hour inside the pasture with our sheep, and be sure to pet the wooly lambs who are brave enough to come close to you!
