00 S'more Years! To celebrate, let's get creative and utilize the biggest campfire in the solar system to make s'mores!! Join us as we make solar ovens and learn s'more history!!! When you are making s'mores at an archeological site, ya gotta get creative! Here at Hueco Tanks, smoke and charcoal from campfires can damage history, some that's over 10,000 years old! Join us as we learn all about using the sun to toast our marshmallows! We will be making solar ovens and talking about s'more history! S'more supplies will be provided! Reservations are required. Call park headquarters at (915)857-1135 to save your spots! Program and entry fees will be waived for this event. We'll be out in the sun, so make sure to wear sunscreen, sun protection, and bring plenty of water.
