South Llano River State Park 1927 Park Road 73 Junction, Texas

Come look through a telescope, find constellations, and more! Join some local astronomers, volunteers, and park staff for a special evening! We’ll look through telescopes at celestial objects. We’ll also find out what the park is doing to protect its dark skies for people and wildlife. All ages are welcome! Where: Park in overflow lot across from campsites 18 and 20. Program will be held at the Walk-in campground parking lot, just behind the overflow lot. Who: Bring the whole family! All ages are welcome. What to bring: A flashlight (red-light flashlight or covered with red cellophane if possible) and a lawn chair. Dress for the weather!

Cost: Program is free with park entrance fee — $5 per person ages 13 and up; kids 12 and under are free! Please stop by Park Headquarters to obtain entrance permit.
