The Youth Leadership Program engages young people nationwide who want to promote the Park Trust mission and connect others to parks in their local communities.
Known as Student Ambassadors, kids in grades 4th-12th grade are active outdoors volunteers who enjoy sharing their experiences at natural, cultural, and historical parks with others to educate and inspire. Ambassadors also give back to our public lands through service and promote stewardship of public lands throughout the year.
Kids need parks and parks need kids! To learn more about the Student Ambassador position, contact our Youth Programs Manager, Emily Swanzy, at emily@parktrust.org. Please note, new Ambassador recruitment takes place over the summer and new Ambassadors are added at the start of each academic year. We are no longer accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year but would be happy to add you to our waitlist.
