National Kids to Parks Day – C&O Canal

How do you make art with the sun? What did people wear during the 1870s on the C&O Canal? What’s in our water? What else is there to do at Great Falls? Join the C&O Canal Trust and National Park Service to find out! Visitors of all ages can try on period clothing, meet the park’s mules, make art and crafts, play some games, and discover other ways to explore our amazing natural and historical resources. Tabled events will be open until 1:00pm, and a guided hike to the Great Falls overlook will leave from the Tavern at 1:00pm.
