Aylish grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania, raising backyard chickens and maintaining a small apiary with her family. Her passion for bringing kids outdoors stems from her memories of playing in the creek or one of the old cabins at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Today, you’ll find her enjoying these same activities—playing in creeks and hiking local parks!

Aylish received her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Education from Skidmore College. At Skidmore, she interned as their North Woods Steward, where she conducted trail maintenance, mapped and removed invasive species, and led alumni and summer nature camp hikes. She has worked in the environmental education industry as a camp counselor, naturalist, and community compost representative.

Aylish joined the National Park Trust team in August of 2024 as an Education Coordinator. She looks forward to helping create memorable outdoor experiences for students across the country and nurturing their sense of wonder.
