Sally Huang
Sally was born and raised in Ashburn, Virginia, and developed a deep appreciation for nature and a love for animals at a young age. She grew up going camping with her family and exploring different national parks–some of her favorites include Glacier, Mount Rainier, and Acadia. These early experiences inspired her to study wildlife conservation at Virginia Tech, where she graduated in 2024.
Sally has field experience doing research on several wildlife populations in southwest Virginia and has worked a summer as a ranger at a regional park. In 2025, she joined the National Park Trust as a Youth Programs Intern and provided overall support to the team. Now, as an Education Coordinator, Sally oversees about 30 schools in the Buddy Bison School Program and loves helping connect the next generation to the outdoors.
