National Park Trust promotes Kids to Parks Day each May. Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play celebrated annually on the third Saturday of May. The day connects kids and families with local, state, and national parks and public lands through thousands of park events promoting discovery and exploration in the great outdoors. This year’s celebration will take place on May 16, 2026, at Lakeside Park. Come on out and join us for a scavenger hunt, books, check out the Born Learning Trail, and even a couple of surprises! Kids to Parks Fond du Lac is brought to you by the Fond du Lac Area United Way.
