Eva was born and raised in State College, Pennsylvania, where she developed a love of nature that has stayed with her for as long as she can remember. She spent much of her childhood outdoors with her sisters, climbing trees, catching salamanders, and building animal homes. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in environmental education, to help other children foster the same love of nature.

Eva graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Music in 2022, and has been working with youth and the outdoors ever since. After completing an Environmental Education internship at a nature center in Pennsylvania, she moved to D.C. to focus on connecting under-resourced communities with nature. She has worked with youth in both formal and informal educational settings, and recently received her ECE Teaching Credential. Eva is excited to join the National Park Trust team as Senior Education Coordinator and create the next generation of land stewards.
