Campus Clean-Up at South Carolina State University

On October 20th, 2024, students, faculty, and community members gathered for a campus clean-up at South Carolina State University. The event aimed to enhance the campus environment and foster a sense of community responsibility. Volunteers grabbed gloves and gathered trash bags, working together to tackle litter in various areas, including the main fields from the football game the night prior and nearby green spaces.

Participants collected waste and engaged in discussions about sustainability and environmental stewardship. The ultimate goal was to inspire ongoing efforts to maintain a clean and welcoming campus. The event concluded with a group reflection on the importance of caring for our surroundings, reinforcing the idea that small actions can lead to significant change.
