Celebrating a Year of Impact: 2024–2025 College Ambassador Program Wrap-Up
As the school year comes to a close, we’re proud to celebrate another successful year of our College Ambassador Program. From coast to coast, our student ambassadors have spent the year connecting their campuses and communities to the outdoors, leading events that inspire, educate, and empower the next generation of park stewards.
This year’s cohort of ambassadors represented 24 colleges and universities representing 20 states. Through creative programming and a deep commitment to environmental engagement, these students helped hundreds of their peers experience the joy and benefits of outdoor spaces, many for the first time.
Some of the highlights from the 2024–2025 academic year include:
🌲 Weekend backpacking trips in national parks
🌊 Coastal cleanups and service projects
🧗 Guided hikes, camping trips, and climbing adventures
📚 On-campus outreach events with games, giveaways, and educational resources

We are so proud of the leadership and passion this year’s ambassadors brought to their campuses. By creating inclusive and welcoming outdoor experiences, they’ve built a lasting legacy and inspired their peers to keep exploring and protecting the outdoors long after graduation.
A huge thank you to our ambassadors for making this year a success, and to all the students who joined in the adventure!
