Event Details:
- Who: National Park Trust, National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, NOAA Fisheries, and Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
- What: A fun Saturday fishing at Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary! NOAA staff members will welcome participants to the Channel Islands and teach them about the marine sanctuary, the fish and wildlife that call it home, and our role in helping protect it. Fishing guides will teach the basics and help you cast your line into the scenic Pacific Ocean to catch some fish!
- Where: 4151 Victoria Avenue, Oxnard, CA 93035
- When: Saturday, October 26th, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
A fishing pole, tackle box, and introductory gear will be provided to each participant to keep during and after the event. You do not need to own or bring fishing gear to participate!
