The National Park Service is celebrating the 100th National Christmas Tree lighting this year! Join the National Park Trust, and Joint-Base Myer-Henderson Hall’s Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation programs on December 17th for a visit to President’s Park (White House) in Washington D.C.

Join us for an afternoon of history and holiday celebrations as we explore and learn about the National Christmas Tree and the Pathway of Peace, which features 58 uniquely-decorated trees representing 56 states and territories that make up our nation! Park Rangers will take us on a tour of the park, explaining the history of the National Christmas Tree and the significance of the trees lining our route. Hot chocolate, cider, and cookies will be provided for all participants! The event is on Saturday, December 17th, from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm! Transportation will be provided from the JBM-HH Bowling Center at 3:20 pm and return at 5:30 pm.
