Kids to Park Day

Kids to Parks Day at Hells Gate State Park will have multiple activities throughout the day.

From 9 AM to 10 AM, Kids will get a chance to learn and participate in an Archery education activity put together by the Hells Canyon Archery Club. In the second/next activity (10-11 AM), kids in the park will participate and learn about the new upcoming sport of Disc Golf. Kids will participate in a mini educational activity learning techniques, rules, etc. The kids will also participate in a mini-tournament by the Hells Canyon Disc Golf. For the third/next activity (11-12), kids in the park will and can participate in a nature scavenger hunt or a nature hike. Kids and their families are encouraged to enjoy the State Park and its natural beauty. The nature activities include bird sightings, tree identifications, and history education about the park.
