Do you like to get hands-on experience looking for cool critters? The Appalachian Mountains are home to many unique aquatic species. Get ready to get your feet wet as we search for some of these and use what we find to keep an eye on how healthy our water is. This program is conducted in accordance with Virginia Law; park staff possess the proper permits and training to briefly handle wildlife.
