Celebrate the night sky and learn from real astronomers! Join us and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society for an evening of celestial fun! We will observe planets, stars, and galaxies up close and with the help of knowledgeable astronomers. Meet: Park at the Amphitheater or Day Use Area and walk to the Overflow Parking Lot to look through the telescopes. Bring: Red lights only please! Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park HQ if you arriving after office hours. Want to speed up your entry process? Reserve online in advance here. Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at Park Headquarters. Note: This Star Party is subject to cancellation due to weather conditions and cloud cover. Please call our office during operating hours (8:30AM-4:30PM) to check on the status of the program. You do not need to reserve a spot specifically for this program, it is included in a camping or day use permit.
