Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary May 20th Fishing Outing

Event Details:

  • Who: National Park Trust, National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, NOAA Fisheries, and Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary
  • What: A fun Saturday fishing in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. NOAA Rangers will teach us about the marine sanctuary, the fish and wildlife that call it home, and our role in helping to protect it. After a complimentary lunch, you will learn some fishing basics and then cast your line into the coastal waters of the sanctuary and catch some fish! As a thank you for attending, each participant will be gifted a fishing pole and tackle box with all the gear you need to continue fishing for years to come.
  • Where: We will leave from the Sailor’s Choice Fishing Boat dock located at 99751 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, FL 33037
  • When: Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm.

A fishing pole, tackle box, and introductory gear will be provided to each participant to keep during and after the event. You do not need to own or bring fishing gear to participate!
