Event Details:
- Who: The National Park Trust and Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall’s DFMWR Office
- What: A fun fall day of exploration and adventure at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, West Virginia, on Saturday, October 28th, 2023. Park Rangers will welcome us to Harpers Ferry and provide a short program providing context and knowledge of the park. Military annual passes will be presented to all participants who can provide their DoD CAC card on the day of the event. After a free lunch, participants will have 3 hours to explore historic downtown Harpers Ferry, hike the town’s trails, and experience the museums and significant sites around the park! The bus will depart the park at 3:00, and the event will be complete upon arrival back at JBM-HH! The itinerary and event details are located below! Please register each member of your party individually for the event.

Itinerary for Saturday, October 28th:
10:00 – Bus departs for Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
11:00 – Arrive at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
11:00-11:30 – Ranger welcome and military annual passes handed out
11:30 -12:00 – Lunch
12:00 – 3:00 – Explore Harpers Ferry National Historical Park (Hiking, History, Museums)
3:00 – 4:00 – Bus leaves Harpers Ferry for JBM-HH
4:00 – Arrive back at JBM-HH, Event Complete!
