National Park Trust partners with the U.S. Marine Corps’ Single Marine Program to bring young Marines on engaging outdoor events and activities in our national parks, public lands & waters. This program provides deep, overnight experiences to Marines, allowing them to relax and learn about outdoor recreation opportunities like kayaking, rafting, fishing, and rock climbing, while also engaging with their fellow young Marines to foster community and friendships that last long after the trips.
In November 2025, the Park Trust brought Marines to Joshua Tree National Park (CA) for a weekend of caving, hiking, and connection. Be part of their adventure – watch the video below:
