My name is Declan, I’m 11, and I live in California. My favorite park is Carlsbad Caverns. In school, my favorite subject is science and I like learning about the earth and how things like caves and caverns are formed. I’ve also explored slot canyons with my family, which was a lot of fun. As a youth leader, I want to help kids get involved in cleaning up their local parks and outdoor spaces. Keeping the outdoors clean and protected is important to me. If I could visit any park site, it would be Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Hawaii.
