On campus, I am deeply involved with the Newman Center, the youth group for the Catholic Church. I helped bridge gaps and foster understanding through a book group that engaged LGBTQIA+ individuals and the church in meaningful dialogue. This initiative aimed to create a community rooted in love and acceptance. By facilitating conversations among diverse backgrounds, I’ve seen the power of creating spaces where individuals can express their true selves and find common ground.
