Michael Carper

Michael Carper is a corporate executive and attorney with extensive experience in the communications, technology, and internet industries. He has served in key corporate and board roles with numerous ventures from start-ups to large public companies. He currently serves as president and chief legal officer of United Wireless Holdings, Inc. and is a principal with Intelligent Partners, LLC, a private investment firm. Mike is also an active member of the LGBTQ+ community in Austin, Texas where he lives with his husband and daughters.

Like so many supporters of the Park Trust, Mike’s love of our National Parks began in childhood when he and his siblings piled into the back of the family station wagon to tour the parks of the Rocky Mountains and the American Southwest during summer vacations. Over the years he expanded his knowledge of the National Park system. In 2002, through a family foundation, Mike provided funding to the Park Trust for the acquisition of key acreage on the south shore of the island of St. John for donation to the Virgin Islands National Park. In the ensuing years, Mike has participated in a number of Park Trust initiatives, including serving as a member of the Park Trust Advisory Board.
