My name is Patience Wagner, and I’m a senior and environmental science major at Knox College. My outdoor experience growing up mostly came through Girl Scouts, where I learned camping skills and found a love for making memories with friends outside. When I came to Knox and met Sarah, she opened my eyes to the financial and social barriers to experiencing the outdoors that so many face. I’m excited to work with the National Park Trust to continue making the outdoors accessible to my peers.
