Ruby Messersmith

Hey, my name is Ruby! I am a junior at UF studying Biology with a focus in natural sciences. I love water-related activities: lakes, rivers, oceans, you name it. I’m most passionate about removing economic barriers and making the outdoors accessible for everyone. I’ve enjoyed camping my entire life, and being outdoors is a huge part of who I am. One of my favorite things about being outside is that beyond connecting people to nature, outdoor recreation connects people to people
