My name is Tia Green, and I attend South Carolina State University. I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors, but recently I haven’t had many chances to connect with nature. I’m excited to use this opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors and encourage others to do the same. I believe nature is a powerful outlet for reflection, healing, and balance, especially for students, and I want to help more people see the outdoors as a space that’s welcoming, freeing, and meant for everyone.
