My name is Penny Robledo. I am 11 years old and I’m in the 6th grade. I am from Southern California. I love to explore our national parks. I’ve visited a total of 14 National Parks, and a few other Monuments and Historic sites as well. My favorite is Joshua Tree National Park. If I could count all the days and nights I’ve spent in Joshua Tree, I could say that I’ve spent a month of my life there. My favorite outdoor activity is hiking.
I started my national parks’ journey when I was 5 years old. My first ever national park visit was Grand Canyon National Park. I’ll never forget the time I backpacked into the Inner Canyon. I want to be a good example and encourage other kids to go out and explore and learn at our parks. My dream park trip would be to visit America’s first national park, Yellowstone National Park. I’m looking forward to sharing all of my park adventures with you all!
