National Park Trust invites members of the National Military Family Association, military service personnel, veterans, and their families to sign up for our August 15th Washington DC Monument Kayaking Tour Outing! Participants will meet National Park Trust staff at 3500 Water Str. NW
Washington, DC 20007
, at 10:00 AM!

Applying for this event does not guarantee a spot; participants and groups that have been accepted or put on a waitlist will be notified by email by July 31st, 2026!

  • Who: National Park Trust, National Military Family Association, Key Bridge Boat House
  • What: Join us for a special day on the Potomac River, where you’ll have the opportunity to kayak while exploring some of Washington, D.C.’s most iconic landscapes and monuments. The adventure begins at the Key Bridge Boathouse, where experienced guides will provide all necessary safety instructions before leading a private, guided tour on the water. After your paddle, enjoy a complimentary lunch and time to connect with fellow participants while reflecting on the unique perspectives and history experienced throughout the day. We look forward to sharing this memorable outing with you!
