Pollinator Planting at  Pineywoods Native Plant Center

For our local park outing, we ventured to our very own Pineywoods Native Plant Center just down the street from SFA. We invited people out to learn how they can help pollinators. With lots of color we decorated our pots and made them ready to attract pollinators.

We decorated our pots with vibrant colors, pollinators, movie references, flowers, and our very own National Park Trust logo and friend Buddy Bison. Once our pots were decorated they were ready for the next step: Planting. We planted some marigolds and milkweed for our pollinator friends to snack on, on their migration adventure! The event was a great success and it was so nice to get to send people home with their very own pollinator garden.
