Hello, my name is Miles. I am in the 4th grade. My family and I recently moved to Kentucky. My favorite subjects in school are math and history. When visiting National Park Service sites I enjoy learning about the history of the park and going on hikes. My favorite park that I have visited so far is Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park. I think it’s pretty cool that I can stand where President Lincoln once played as a kid. If I could visit any park I would visit Yellowstone National Park.
I think public lands and parks are important because they keep our history and the natural area for everyone to enjoy and learn about. As a Student Ambassador, I want to encourage families to explore their parks and learn about the history of the area.
