First Buddy Bison School Trip of 2021

We were excited to host the first in-park Buddy Bison School trip in over a year! 

Over three days last June, forty-five middle school students from St. Ignatius Loyola Academy visited the Marshy Point Nature Center in Chase, Maryland. They participated in a Canoe Ecology program where they learned about the Chesapeake Bay watershed while paddling like pros through the shallow creek. Immersive Buddy Bison School Program experiences like these help elevate and strengthen the environmental education concepts taught in the classroom throughout the year.
